Paul Sehl

Paul Sehl

Chair

Paul leads TCGNO with a focus on open communication and community collaboration, working to ensure the neighborhood's voice is represented in local discussions affecting quality of life and shared spaces. He and his wife, Katy, have lived in the Tahquitz Creek Golf neighborhood since December 2018 and value its welcoming community, convenient location, and scenic golf course setting. Paul enjoys neighborhood events such as the Welcome Back Party and Modernism Week activities and is focused on initiatives, including traffic calming and organizing regular clean-up efforts to further enhance the community.

Steven Badeau

Steven Badeau

Vice Chair

Steve Badeau and his husband, Jim McConville, purchased their home in Tahquitz Creek Golf in 2015 after being drawn to Palm Springs' midcentury architecture and the character of the neighborhood. Steve has been an active contributor to TCGNO, serving on the Modernism Committee and other neighborhood committees, and he designed the blade signs that welcome residents and visitors into the community. His nonprofit experience also includes service on the Board of the Los Feliz Improvement Association and leadership roles with the SAGA Snow Ski Club in Los Angeles.

Marlyna is passionate about enhancing the community through the Garden/Lot project and is actively focused on safety initiatives, including working with the City on traffic calming measures.

Mario Benito

Mario Benito

Director

Mario represents the interests of his neighbors, helping shape TCGNO's neighborhood outreach and participation. He loves becoming close friends with a diverse group of neighbors since moving to the community four years ago. Mario appreciates being in southwest PS, a bit away from the tourist concentration found downtown. He said it feels like a true village here and that it may be one of the most convenient locations in PS for shopping and running errands. Mario is also a member of the Palm Springs Blue Zones Project Policy Committee (www.bluezonesprojectpalmsprings.com). He looks forward to helping organize a community cleanup morning for the wild areas of Tahquitz Creek that run through the neighborhood.

Mike Hiles

Mike Hiles

Director

Mike supports TCGNO's mission through active involvement in community discussions, initiatives, and resident engagement. During his five years in the neighborhood, he has grown to appreciate its welcoming, close-knit spirit. He values the thoughtful layout of the homes, which balances private outdoor living with opportunities for neighborly connection. He sees the CV Link as a meaningful enhancement, providing a scenic pathway that encourages activity and interaction throughout the community. Mike currently serves on the Los Pueblo Association board. In the future, he hopes to expand social gatherings that strengthen relationships among residents, who bring such varied experiences and perspectives to the neighborhood.

Christopher Dye

Christopher Dye

Director

Christopher looks forward to opportunities where he can offer his background knowledge to help support TCGNO's objectives. He recently purchased a home with his husband in the Tahquitz Creek Golf neighborhood after relocating from San Diego. While in San Diego, he served on the North Park Main Street Design and Promotions Committees, organized and managed a neighborhood Facebook group that grew to more than 12,000 members, and volunteered with local nonprofits supporting community events and initiatives. Christopher hopes to bring that experience to Tahquitz Creek by fostering communication, encouraging dialogue, and advocating for neighborhood improvements.
